Creating consistently and growing without losing your authenticity, creativity, or actual life in the process.
What you’ll leave with
5 core video challenges to practise. Four weeks to experiment, share, and build a creative rhythm.
Try voiceover, interviews, and quiet observational footage to discover the storytelling approach that feels most natural to you.
Learn what feels natural to you, from the stories you choose to the way you tell them.
Share rough versions with your group, ask for feedback, and get more comfortable letting your work be seen.
Build a way of noticing, making, and sharing that fits your actual life.
The experience
Karam introduces each challenge with a short video. Take time to think, film, edit, experiment, and share with the community.
A small accountability group to share your rough cuts, exchange feedback, and help each other keep going.
A couple from last time:

Pay closer attention to something you normally walk straight past.

Find a story about a person who matters to you, and tell it.
There is no single correct way to document your life. Experimenting with different ways of telling stories helps you recognise your own authentic style.
Learn about storytelling and the creative process, and bring your questions. Join live on Zoom or catch up with the recordings inside Circle.
2 somatic sessions for when you need to slow down, shake things up, or find your creative fire again.

You’ll create alongside people joining from around the world.
You’ll be placed into a small accountability group, matched as closely as possible by timezone.
Share the rough cuts.
Ask for feedback.
Talk through an idea.
Celebrate the wins together.
You leave knowing how to tell the story behind what you care about. And how to keep doing it after the challenge ends.

From the first edition, then called Document Your Life

For the past seven years, I’ve been documenting my life. Big moments, small moments, and everything in between.
What started as a personal habit slowly became my creative practice, my way of telling stories, and eventually a community of 300K+ people.
I’ve collaborated with brands like Gore-Tex and Peak Design, hosted storytelling events around the world, and spent years figuring out how to create in a way that still feels like me.
Now I want to help you do the same. Not copy my style, but build your own way of noticing, filming, writing, and sharing.
Hosting. Not as a performance, but as a way to create the conditions for intimacy. Through storytelling events, sailing retreats, and dinner parties, I love knowing I helped two people connect and become friends. ❤️
Analog. Film photography with my Hasselblad 500C, Super 8, bikes over cars, and offline gatherings. Ways to slow down time and notice more.
My friends. I make videos about them all the time and somehow made it into a career, hahaha. I’ve built my life around the idea that platonic love can be the load-bearing wall of an adult life. I encourage everyone to do the same. Community is the answer. 🙂

Not at all.
This is for people with something they care about, whether they’re making it or living it, who want to get better at telling its story.
You might be making art, building a company, or documenting a move, a relationship, or a chapter of your life.
You do not need to become an influencer. You just need something you care enough about to share.
You’ll create alongside people joining from around the world on Circle, our community platform. It’s where you can share your videos, comment on each other’s work, ask questions, and get to know the people creating with you. For this edition, we’re aiming for around 150 people in the wider community.
Inside that, you will also be placed in a smaller accountability group of around 15 people, matched as closely as possible by timezone.
That is where you can share the rough cuts, ask for feedback, talk through an idea, and celebrate the wins together.
The goal is not just accountability. We want you to leave with a few creative people you genuinely want to stay in touch with.
Nope. Your phone is enough. You don’t need a fancy camera, microphone, or professional setup. Basic editing experience helps, but it’s absolutely not required.
We’ll share simple tools, resources, and guidance to get you started.
You’re very welcome here. Some prompts will gently push you towards the camera, but documenting your life doesn’t mean becoming a talking head.
You’ll experiment with voiceover, interviews, filming from behind the camera, scripting, spontaneous storytelling, and other approaches to discover what feels like you.
This is a deliberately slow challenge: 5 video challenges across a whole month, with several days to explore each one. Some stories might take a couple of hours; others might unfold over a few days. There’s room to think, experiment, and create at your own pace.
Life will happen. If you fall behind, you can skip a challenge and join the next one. Missing one doesn’t mean you’ve failed or need to quit. The goal is to build a creative practice that fits into your actual life.
No. You can share your work inside the community first, and you decide what goes onto the internet.
That’s part of what we’ll explore, but we’re not promising you a follower number.
We’ll help you become better at noticing stories, telling them, sharing consistently, and making work people actually want to spend time with.
If you live in a country with lower purchasing power and the price makes it difficult to join, please email [email protected]. We’d be happy to send you a discount code.
We will share the exact schedule before the challenge begins.
There will be 4 live workshops with Karam across the month, covering things like storytelling, scriptwriting, creative process, and building a sustainable way of creating.
If you cannot make one live, no stress. Every workshop will be recorded, so you can catch up afterwards inside Circle, our community platform.
